You can come and drive one. Nobody should spend this kind of money on a vehicle they have only seen photographs of, and a ramp either works for how you transfer or it does not — which you find out in about a minute in our lot, not from a spec sheet.
We acquire pre-owned conversions weekly, and we can custom-order any new vehicle from the manufacturers we represent.

Those conversions go onto a short list of chassis. Which one you end up on is usually decided by the garage you park in and the people who ride with you, not by the badge on the hood.
The Ford Transit and the Chevrolet Express are the full-size platforms.
A van opens at the side or at the back. We carry both.
Side entry uses either an in-floor ramp, which stores in the floor of the vehicle, or a fold-out ramp, which folds out of the doorway. Rear entry puts the ramp at the back instead, manual or powered.
Which one is right depends on where you park, who else rides, and how you transfer. That is a conversation, not a product page. Call us with those three before you start shortlisting vehicles.
A van is the largest thing on this site, and plenty of people do not need one. A vehicle lift is a good option if you have some mobility left, or if your equipment weighs in under 300 lbs — it goes on the car you already own.
Weight is what settles it. A lift tops out around 450 lbs, and what your vehicle can carry depends on the towing rating at the hitch and whether the body is unibody or frame. Some power wheelchairs sit right at 500 lbs, which rules a lift out completely. At that point a drive-in van is the option you have left.
Vans also tend to need less maintenance, because the equipment is enclosed rather than exposed to the weather all day. Bring us the weight of your chair and we will tell you which way it falls.

Every vehicle comes with the conversion brand’s full factory warranty, and the modifications on it are the ones we install and service.
If we find something on that inspection that we would not want to hand you, you will hear about it. That is the part of this job that costs us sales, and it is the reason people come back.
Every vehicle on our lot has been inspected by NMEDA QAP-certified technicians.
QAP accreditation is audited and has to be renewed, which means it is worth checking rather than assuming. If you are comparing dealers, ask each of them to show you current accreditation. Ask us too.
Traditional banks may not see the value in a wheelchair accessible van. Our preferred lenders know exactly what goes into making these work for you.
Financing runs through our preferred bank or through BraunAbility, depending on the vehicle. We also apply the OEM mobility rebate — typically $1,000 — on qualifying new conversions. Ask us to confirm the current rebate amount before you build it into a budget.
There is no payment calculator on this page. What you would actually pay turns on the price of the vehicle, your down payment, the annual interest rate and the term of the loan. Call with those four and we will run a real number with you instead of a decorative one.
If you already drive with hand controls, a left pedal accelerator or a spinner knob, you may not have to buy them a second time. We help clients transfer their existing systems into new vehicles all the time. Tell us before you settle on the vehicle, not after.
We require a driving rehab evaluation with the accompanying prescription before we will install a system in your vehicle. If you have not been evaluated yet, ask — there are several licensed CDRS providers around here that we have worked with, and we can point you toward them.
