Renting a wheelchair accessible van in Gainesville
Rentals here are run by Advanced Driving Systems and Gator Custom Mobility together, from this address.
ADS & Gator Custom Mobility
Advanced Driving Systems have been Tallahassee’s mobility specialists since 1976. They partnered with Gator Custom Mobility — in Gainesville since 1989 — to bring that service here, and the accessible van rental fleet is part of it.
It operates from 501 NE 23rd Ave, Gainesville, FL 32609 — this building. If you have found your way here looking for ADS in Gainesville, you are in the right place.

When renting is the right answer
- A visit. Family arriving for a week, a wedding, a funeral — no reason to buy a van for it.
- While yours is in the shop. A conversion under repair does not have to stop the week.
- Before you commit. Living with a ramp van for a few days tells you more about side versus rear entry than any showroom visit. Drive one first, then come and talk to us — it is the same building either way.
When buying or converting is
If the need is permanent, renting stops making sense quickly. We hold accessible vans in stock and we convert vehicles people already own — lowered floors, ramps, lifts, securement and driving adaptations.

Looking to rent a chair or scooter rather than a van? That is here.
